Now known as new L.a. ,the dystopian remains of the once lush and thriving oasis. it’s weary denizens are locked in a class war they didn’t start. the Corporatocracy continues its charade as a benevolent body of strong minded leaders. meanwhile they submerge their tentacles deeper and tighten their grip on those who they vowed to represent. A sickness clears the land and salts the earth. Those in power watch, with our own Gestapo fortifying the palace perimeter. They laugh. They eat cake. The people speak out. They vote. They march. They riot. They turn to their leaders for answers.
No one is listening.
Their walls are too high and too thick. Resources are scarce but consumption moves along at alarming rates. Fools gold continues to change hands, never circulating back to the pool where it was generated. Many have given up, exhausted in the trenches. Some have chosen to search for more…
